湖南黑茶:益阳茯砖茶英文介绍

China is tea's hometown. With the long history, the culture of Chinese tea is profound, and is a shining pearl which is the treasure-house of the Chinese history and culture.

Based on the processing technology and the different qualities it produces, Chinese teas are of six different types: green tea, yellow tea, dark tea, white tea, black tea and oolong tea. Dark tea is the top grade. "Dark tea has many varieties, Fuzhuan tea is the most one." (From Hunan's Dark Tea, written by Chang Zheng'an and Tang Heping)

There is a civilized, rich and beautiful city - the ancient city of Yiyang, which located in the west area of Dongting and on the banks of the Zishui River. This magical and beautiful land gave birth by the accumulation of centuries of traditional tea production to Yiyang's Fuzhuan Tea production process.

The ancestors sang and praised Fuzhuan Tea with the words of "Cooked a pot of tea ,Invited some good friends, Praised the nature, Sent the eternal love" and "In the vast of Gobi, The camels' bells ringing, On the ancient tea-horse road, Fuzhuan tea's fragrance is everywhere."

In 1988, the association of Feng Ming in Japan and the famous tea ceremony expert, Mr. Song Xiazhi, investigated the Hexi Corridor in China and found Fuzhuan Tea to have the magic efficacy and praised Fuzhuan Tea as "The mystery tea of ancient Chinese Silk Road, tea of life in Northwest national minorities."

Yiyang Tea Factory Co, Ltd., is the original Hunan Yiyang Tea Factory, located in the south region of the Zishui River and near by the Dongting River and Tao Huayuan, known to have a mild climate and abundant rainfall. Yiyang Tea Factory Co, Ltd is the largest Fuzhuan Tea manufacturer and the largest facility to store the raw material of Fuzhuan Tea. It also is the leading enterprise of the provincial agricultural industrialization and the provincial high-tech enterprise.

For more than half a century, Yiyang has continued the nearly 500-year-old tradition of Fuzhuan Tea's production process, honoring the long history of Fuzhuan Tea, promoting its tea culture and developing the old Fuzhuan Tea brand "Xiang Yi". Xiang Yi Fuzhuan Tea starts by using only tea of the highest quality and pollution-free as the raw material and using many processes like pile-fermentation, fermentation, FaHua (microbe growing) to produce fully fermented tea products. Fuzhuan Tea's are made into brick-like forms which are smooth, clean-cut and the same thickness and firmness.

Fuzhuan Tea Brick has a complicated production process and a long processing cycle, from the primary tea leaf to the finished product, it goes through more than 30 procedures. Fahua is the most wonderful and special process for which is unique only to Fuzhuan Tea. By stacking the brick tea on shelves orderly and neatly in a room with an appropriate space overhead, Xiang Yi is able to control the temperature and humidity of the tea through the fermentation phase effectively without using any additives.

Through the natural fermentation and the effects of the activities of the microbes, many golden yellow granules called the 'Golden Flower' are generated in Fuzhuan Tea, known to be very beneficial to the human body. The Golden Flower is not only the symbol different from other kind of tea, but also is the main factor of evaluating the quality of Fuzhuan Tea. The Golden Flower of Xiang Yin Fuzhuan Tea is generally denser and has larger granules with the bright golden color. The color of the tea soup is bright orange, the fragrance is pure, and the taste is mellow with rich Golden Flower's aroma.

The Golden Flower is Eurotium Cristatum, one of the primary and dominant microbe species found during the processing of Fuzhuan Tea and also is the major factor of the unique quality of Fuzhuan Tea. Observed under the microscope, the Golden Flower is in groups, with each Golden Flower granule in the appearance of an umbrella and its color golden. Microbiologist found the Golden Flower as a newly discovered microbial species on earth less than 30 years ago. The only other similar microbe, found over a thousand years ago, is lucid qanoderma.

It is rare and amazing to found the large number of Eurotium Cristatum on Fuzhuan Tea. Many microbiologist and experts from all over the world have been conducting research on the Golden Flower, in hopes to win the Novel Prize through these studies. Recently the PhD supervisor, Professor Liu Zhonghua from Hunan Agricultural University, by using the High Throughout Screening, separated a variety of active compounds from Fuzhuan Tea and found that there are two new active substances - A and B. These substances have proved to have the remarkable effects of lipid-lowering and glucose-lowering/anti-diabetic properties, at the molecular level. In May of 2007, Professor Liu Zhonghua revealed an academic report about "Fuzhuan Tea and the Golden Flower" at Harvard University in the United States and shocked many international experts of food engineering, agriculture, medicine and microbiology.

Many leading tea experts have performed animal experiments, human clinical trials, toxicology studies, safety assessment and epidemiological investigations with the results showing that the many compounds of the Golden Flower have the ability to activate the PPAR? and PPAR? models.

The two new active substances of Golden Flower, A and B, have been shown to reduce body fat or adipose and lower lipids, blood pressure, and blood sugar, significantly. Drinking Fuzhuan Tea for an extended period of time can promote a healthier metabolism, enhance the human body, delay the senescence and plays an effective role in preventive health care and preventing pathology in the human body. The widespread attention on Fuzhuan Tea by the tea industry and the medical industry has inspired many to pursue a healthy life by drinking Fuzhuan Tea.

As a new type of healthy, natural drink, Fuzhuan Tea has shown positive effects on hypertension, hyperlipidemia, high blood sugar and other pathological symptoms which come from consuming a diet high in fat, protein, and cholesterol foods typical for the modern urban citizen. Fuzhuan Tea's processing is a second-class national secret, and is important to the historical and cultural heritage of China, is has been included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection list.

Today's Xiang Yi Fuzhuan Tea is favored by domestic and foreign people because it's long history, rich cultural connotation and its unique pharmacological health benefits. It has faded its veil of mystery and come into the homes of ordinary people with its long history, culture, and effects. 茶市当中的黑马之不得不说的安化黑茶

安化黑茶因产自中国湖南安化县而得名,是中国古代名茶之一。上个世纪50年代曾一度绝产,以至于默默无名。安化黑茶由此再度走进茶人的视野,成为茶人的新宠。

安化黑茶起源于秦汉时期的渠江黑茶薄片。黑茶薄片呈形状不一的扁平薄片状,源于安化县渠江镇,黑茶薄片又称为“黑茶宗祖薄片”,民间相传为张良所造,俗称 “张良薄片”。汉代时黑茶薄片成为皇家贡茶,称之为“皇家薄片”或“渠江皇家薄片”。安化县志和黑茶史料中记载唐皇以产地赐名,称之为“渠江薄片”。

安化黑茶是20世纪50年代绝产的传统工艺商品,主要由于海外市场的征购,这一原产地在安化山区的奇珍才得以在21世纪之初璧现,并风靡广东及东南亚市场。其声誉之盛,已不亚于当今大行其道的普洱,被权威的台湾茶书誉为“茶文化的经典,茶叶历史的浓缩,茶中的极品”。

现在,安化黑茶主要有砖茶、湘尖和花卷三类,其中砖茶中的茯砖与花卷中的千两茶、百两茶是最受欢迎的品种;所有花卷与部分茯砖是纯手工制作而成,花卷茶呈卷形,茯砖茶是砖头形状。把茶叶制作成立柱的形状,经过炒、渥、蒸、踩等数道工序,一方面增加了有限体积内茶叶的重量,另一方面是黑茶品质形成之必需。
